- Hexadecimal Number System -Base-16 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15
Type of Number
a)Even number:- even number are those number which is divisible by two (2)
For Example –2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16……………………..are even number.
b)Odd number:- odd number are those number which is not divisible by two
For Example:- 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15…………………….. are an odd number.
c)Prime Number:- are those number which has only two factors one itself or other 1
For Example:- 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 19, 37 …………………… are prime numbers.
d)Composite Number:- are those number which has more than two factor
For Example:- 4, 6, 8, 10 …………………….. are composite numbers.
Points to remember
(a) 1 is neither prime nor composite.
(b) 2 is the lowest and the only even prime number.
e)Co-prime Number:-are those number whose HCF is 1
For Example:- (i) 3 and 10 are co-prime.
(ii) 15 and 17 are co-prime.
