मध्यकालीन भारत भारतीय इतिहास का सबसे अधिक महत्वपूर्ण खंड है। मध्यकालीन भारतीय इतिहास पाल साम्राज्य से शुरू होकर मुगलों के अंत तक खत्म होता है। यह खण्ड भारतीय इतिहास के महत्पूर्ण पन्नो को समेटे हुए है।
1857 का संग्राम
1857 का संग्राम ब्रिटिश शासन के खिलाफ एक बड़ी और अहम घटना थी। इस क्रांति की शुरुआत 10 मई, 1857 ई. को मेरठ से हुई, जो धीरे-धीरे कानपुर, बरेली, झांसी, दिल्ली, अवध आदि स्थानों पर फैल गई। क्रांति की शुरुआत तो एक सैन्य विद्रोह के रूप में हुई, लेकिन समय के साथ उसका स्वरूप बदल कर ब्रिटिश सत्ता के विरुद्ध एक जनव्यापी विद्रोह के रूप में हो गया, जिसे भारत का प्रथम स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम कहा गया। आइये आजादी की पहली लड़ाई के इस वर्षगांठ के मौके पर इससे जुड़ी खास बातें जानते हैं
