The 2019 IBPS Clerk Notification released on September 12 , 2019 to hire 12075 IBPS clerical candidates.The clerical process notification is scheduled to release in October for the 2020 recruitment according to the official IBPS calendar 2020-21.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment
The IBPS Clerk Recruitment offers an indication of the number of vacancies for various positions and for specific applicant categories.

- Citizenship:
Candidates applying for the test would meet the following criteria:
- Indian citizenship
- Nepaland/or Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee arriving before 1 January 1962
- A person of Indian origin migrated from the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya , Malawi, Zambia, Zaire or Ethiopia to permanently settle in India from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma(Myanmar), Vietnam or East Africa
- Before being named, all applicants who are not Indian citizens must submit an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.

Candidates must have at least an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university

Both the IBPS Clerk exams are administered in English and Hindi except for those sections that measure the candidate’s English language skills.
