TS EDCET 2020 Exam Date has been announced by TSCHE, the exam will be held on May 23, 2020. TS EDCET 2020 is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad for entrance to the B.Ed program from the schools of Telangana state. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks will qualify for the exam.

 

  • TS EDCET 2020 Registration will commence from the last week of February 2020.
  • The enrollment fee for general/ OBC candidates is INR 400 and INR 200 for SC/ST candidates.
  • TS EDCET 2020 Exam will be a week-long extended offline evaluation with 150 MCQs of one mark each.

TS EDCET 2020 Eligibility

The minimum eligibility required for the examination is a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Candidates must be of Indian Nationality.

TS EDCET 2020 Educational Qualification Requirements

 

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. Specialization of this level should be Arts, Commerce, Science, Home Science, Computer Program, Business Management or Business Administration.

Applicants should have completed 10+2+3 years of Education.

Candidate belonging to SC/ST/BC as well as other reserved categories must have 40% aggregate marks secured in Degree examination.

Nominees with Degree in Professional and project-oriented courses such as MBBS/ / BSC(AG)/BVSC/BHMT/B. Pharm does not fulfill the eligibility to apply for the entrance test.

TS EDCET aspirants who have a Master’s Degree obtained without experiencing the undergraduate studies doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria for B.Ed. course.

TS EDCET 2020 Age Limit

Applicants should have completed 19 years of age as before or on July 1, 2020.

There is not any upper age limit applicable to look for the entrance test.

Important Points

       ♥ Part C is to be selected by the applicants throughout the process of online application.

       ♥ The selection of Methodology for the entrance exam is at the candidate’s risk.

       ♥ Issue eligibility for each applicant will be subject to verification which will be completed through counseling.

TS EDCET 2020 Application fee 

TS EDCET 2020 Application fee is divided into two classes. The fee for your General/ OBC/ EWS category is INR 400 and for SC/ST class is INR 200. The online payment of application fee could be processed with two manners as per candidates advantage:

Utilizing Credit/Debit Card: Applicants can process the fee using a credit or debit card whatever is applicable. Choose the payment mode then fill in the Credit/Debit card amount, the title of the cardholder and address and CVV number and click.

TS EDCET 2020 Admit Card

It’ll be issued on May 12, 2020. Applicants will need to download the admit card and have a printout. Candidates should take the admit card into the exam hall on the day of the test. Without admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall or appear for the examination.

TS EDCET 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam consists of 150 objective type questions that will be completed in two hours. The mode of exam is Offline mode (pencil and paper based). The medium of the exam is English and Telugu except for the English section. Applicants that have chosen for the Urdu language might need to try the whole question paper in Urdu only.

 

The question paper will be sectioned into 3 Parts:

 Part A: General English: There will be 25 questions according to General English for 25 marks.

 Component B: Teaching Aptitude: There will be 10 questions on Teaching Aptitude for 10 marks.

 Component C: Methodology: Applicants will have to choose any one topic from the next. There’ll be 100 questions based on the chosen subject for 100 marks. The topics are cited below.
