(ix) If aᵐ = bᵐ (m ≠ 0), then a = b

(i) loge (1 + x) = x – x2/2 + x3/3 – ……………… ∞ (-1 < x ≤ 1).
(ii) loge (1 – x) = – x – x2/ 2 – x3/3 – ………….. ∞ (- 1 ≤ x < 1).
(iii) ½ loge [(1 + x)/(1 – x)] = x + x3/3 + x5/5 + ……………… ∞ (-1 < x < 1).
(iv) loge 2 = 1 – 1/2 + 1/3 – 1/4 + ………………… ∞.
(v) log10 m = µ loge m where µ = 1/loge 10 = 0.4342945 and m is a positive number.
