किसी व्यक्ति या समूह द्वारा लिये गये ऋण को माफ कर देना ऋण अधित्याग या कर्ज माफी (loan waiver) कहलाता है। उदारन के लिये भारत में किसानों द्वारा लिए गये ऋण का अधित्याग, अमेरिका का स्टैफोर्ड ऋण माफी कार्यक्रम (Stafford Loan Forgiveness program) आदि।
क्या है नया फॉर्मूला- नई योजना के तहत किसानों को लुभाने की तैयारी है. सरकार एमएसपी से नीचे अपनी फसल को बेचने वाले किसानों के खातों में पैसे ट्रांसफर करेगी. इसके लिए किसानों को रसीद दिखानी होगी. साथ ही इस स्कीम को पिछले खरीफ सीजन से लागू किया जाएगा, यानी किसान पुरानी रसीद दिखाकर भी पैसे पास सकते हैं.
किसानों की कर्जमाफी की नौबत आती क्यों है ?-किसानों की बातें सुनकर, उनकी परेशानियां जानकर आपको भी लगा होगा कि वो क़र्ज़माफ़ी के हकदार बनते हैं. लेकिन बड़ा सवाल ये है कि कर्ज़माफ़ी की मांग की नौबत आती ही क्यों है, लोन लेकर अच्छी फसल के सपने देखने वाले किसान के सपने ज़्यादातर बार तो मौसम तोड़ देता है और मौसम मेहरबान रहा, अच्छी फसल हुई तो..अच्छे दाम मिलना तो दूर लागत तक निकलने के लाले पड़ जाते हैं. शायद इसीलिए किसान अपना गुस्सा निकालने को आलू-प्याज सड़कों पर फेंकते हैं.
